The first article we will be discussing is on that classic Sociological topic - gender.

Title: Men and Masculinities: Boys and Girls Come out to Play Making Masculinities and Femininities in the School Playground
It’s a short text which highlights some of the key issues of gender. It’s based on an ethnographic study looking at how gender is constructed through play and how the usual formations of hegemonic culture and the relations of power can be changed for the better.
